Ending 2010 … Bittersweet

Dear Family and Friends,
I thought I would shock you all again with my 2nd blog of the year! I figured I only had a few hours left before the new year starts! The buzz word in our house for this year has been “tumultuous”. After reflecting back upon this year, I have come to realize I truly do have a lot to be thankful for. Despite the massive flood issues in our home we are blessed to be in our home filled with love, family and our friends. To think earlier in the year, on my birthday, I could have lost Snehal, my brother, my bhabi and myself/Isha in that horrible car accident still sends chills up my spine!
To counter the bad, this year has brought many good things. I gave birth to my little angel Isha… I got a promotion and received an honorable award at work… My dad turned 65 and we celebrated it “bollywood” style once again… We are fortunate to live down the street from Manish/Tina and my 2 awesome nephews and are only within a few minutes from my parents’ house. We had an awesome Christmas celebration with our family from Canada and to top off the end of 2010, we have an amazing night ahead with Manish/Tina and some of our closest friends in the ATL. Ironically we are ending this decade at the very first club I visited after moving to Atlanta… Havana club! Happy New Year Everyone and may 2011 bring you lots of love and happiness! -Neetu

Finally A Blog from Neetu

Hello Everyone, I know it may be shocking to finally have something to read from the better half;). Just kidding of course! I figured since Snehal has made it so easy for me to literally blog from my blackberry, I should give it a try.
I am now approx. 4 weeks away from delivering my baby girl Divya. It is down to crunch time for the Trivedi’s! We are excited, nervous, anxious, but of course full of joy too! Riya has been patiently waiting for her little sister to arrive and she has been very helpful in helping to prepare for the baby. Sometimes a little too helpful as she looks to undo all my work of folding and putting clothes away, just so she can do it all by herself;).
The last few months have been a roller coaster of events for us. We moved into our new house, as I am sure Snehal has already given several updates regarding that area. My work has been keeping me really busy and I have several opportunities for further growth to consider, although considering the rate of growth of my belly right now, I know my main focus is on my little girls for now:) Riya has kept us busy with her swimming, tap-ballet, and many social events. One thing is for sure, she has definitely taken o my personality! We will have to wait and see who Divya favors.
Well, I am not sure who reads our blogs, but for those of you who do, we appreciate you for doing so!
